WILKENS 180g ROYAL silver plating

A material that can be experienced with all senses.

Silver plating and silver-plated cutlery: The WILKENS 180 g Royal silver plating

Since 1925, the WILKENS silversmiths have also been producing precious silver plating and exquisite silver-plated cutlery:

Cutlery and gourmet items are made from 18/10 stainless steel or alpaca (64% copper, 24% zinc, 12% nickel) and then electroplated with a layer of the finest pure silver.

WILKENS 180 g Royal silver plating: Unique as standard

For the WILKENS 180 g royal silver plating, 180 g of fine silver are applied per 24 dm2. This 180g silver plating is the heaviest standard silver plating currently technically feasible.

Wilkens & Söhne is the only silver manufactory in the world that is able to produce this highest silver plating quality as standard and to offer its discerning international clientele premium silver cutlery with WILKENS 180 g Royal silver plating.

You can recognize WILKENS silver-plated cutlery in the 180 g Royal silver plating by the stamping with the WILKENS lettering and the degree of silver plating.

Hard silver plating and solid silver plating in the WILKENS Collector's Edition

With the so-called 90 g hard silver plating or the 150 g solid silver plating, 90 g or 150 g pure silver are applied per 24 dm2. You will find this type of silver plating in the historical cutlery patterns and collector's cutlery from the WILKENS Collector's Edition, which are made using original tools with the highest level of craftsmanship.
