Cutlery and gourmet items are made from 18/10 stainless steel or alpaca (64% copper, 24% zinc, 12% nickel) and then electroplated with a layer of the finest pure silver.
WILKENS 180 g Royal silver plating: Unique as standard
For the WILKENS 180 g royal silver plating, 180 g of fine silver are applied per 24 dm2. This 180g silver plating is the heaviest standard silver plating currently technically feasible.

With the so-called 90 g hard silver plating or the 150 g solid silver plating, 90 g or 150 g pure silver are applied per 24 dm2.
